Refund and Cancellation Policy
1. Monthly Subscriptions
1a. Group tutoring and course access is provided on a monthly subscription basis at £127 per month.
1b. Your subscription automatically renews on the same date each month unless cancelled.
1c. Your subscription provides access to the tutoring programme and associated resources for the relevant subscription period.
2. Cancelling Your Subscription
2a. You can cancel your subscription at any time through your Sullivan Tutor Academy student dashboard on the relevant course page.
2b. To avoid your next scheduled payment, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
2c. Cancelling your subscription will stop your next renewal payment. You will continue to have access to the course, the sessions, and its resources until the end of your current paid subscription period.
2d. If you cancel less than 24 hours before the renewal date, we may not be able to prevent the next payment from being processed.
2e. Cancelling your subscription does not normally entitle you to a refund for the current subscription period.
2f. If you experience any difficulty cancelling through your student dashboard, you can contact support@sullivantutoracademy.co.uk and we will assist you.
2g. The provisions above do not affect any statutory cancellation or refund rights you may have.
3. Refunds
3a. Monthly subscription payments are non-refundable once processed, except where otherwise required by law or where we agree to a refund under this policy.
3b. Where a cancellation request is received within 24 hours of a subscription payment, we may consider a refund on a case-by-case basis.
3c. Refund requests relating to exceptional circumstances, billing errors, or other issues will be considered individually.
3d. Missed classes are not refundable and cannot normally be transferred to another month or converted into a credit.
3e. We do not provide partial refunds for unused sessions within a subscription period.
4. Class Cancellations and Rescheduling by Sullivan Tutor Academy
4a. We make every reasonable effort to deliver all scheduled classes. However, circumstances such as tutor illness, technical problems, or other unforeseen events may occasionally prevent a session from taking place.
4b. If we are unable to deliver a scheduled class, we will, where reasonably possible:
- Reschedule the session;
- Provide a suitable replacement tutor; or
- Provide an alternative form of equivalent educational provision.
4c. If a session cannot be rescheduled within the same month, we may provide access to a recorded lesson, an additional class or another suitable alternative.
4d. As tutoring is provided as part of a monthly programme, individual sessions are not normally valued or refunded separately. Our aim is to ensure that students receive equivalent educational value across the subscription period.
4e. Nothing in this policy limits any statutory rights you may have as a consumer.
5. Trial Classes
5a. Trial weeks are charged at £32 per class.
5b. If you need to cancel or reschedule a trial session, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice.
5c. Trial sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice, or missed without notice, are non-refundable.
5d. Rescheduling following a late cancellation or non-attendance is not guaranteed and will be subject to availability.
6. Digital Resources and Recordings
6a. Some of our services include digital content that is made available immediately after purchase, including course materials, recordings and other online resources.
6b. Where digital content has been made available, payments are non-refundable, except where a refund is required by law.
6c. By purchasing digital content, you acknowledge that access may begin immediately and that, where permitted by applicable consumer law, this may affect your statutory cancellation rights.
7. Exceptional Circumstances and Billing Errors
7a. If you believe you have been charged incorrectly, have experienced a billing error, or have another exceptional circumstance that you would like us to consider, please contact:
support@sullivantutoracademy.co.uk
7b. We will review the circumstances and respond appropriately.
7c. Where a refund is requested outside the standard terms of this policy, any refund will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
8. Consumer Rights
8a. This policy is intended to operate alongside, and does not replace, any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection legislation.
8b. If any provision of this policy conflicts with a statutory consumer right that cannot legally be excluded or restricted, that statutory right will take precedence.
Changes to This Policy
9a. We may update this Refund & Cancellation Policy from time to time.
9b. The latest version will be published on our website and will apply to purchases and subscriptions made after the updated policy takes effect.
9c. Where required by law, we will provide appropriate notice of material changes.
